Meet Your INSTRUCTOR
Hi, I’m Jodi!
A little bit about where My fascination with Aerial Arts predates ME actually TOUCHING a hammock. Initially taking flight years after embarking on my yoga journey, I had no plans to become an instructor. However, when presented with the opportunity to open a studio, it was a hard yes introducing Aerial Yoga to the Jersey Shore in 2012.
In early February 2016, while working for Vitamix in Germany, I received a call from a studio in Waco, TX, expressing a desire to incorporate Aerial Yoga into their community within six weeks. This marked my inaugural out-of-state consulting endeavor and the first teacher training I would conduct. Despite the tight timeline, I diligently pooled my resources to compile a comprehensive manual. Six weeks later, armed with a suitcase of fabrics and manuals, I arrived to witness the transformative journey of students who had never touched a fabric before. At this moment, I recognized the uniqueness of what I had created—the inception of the Fly and Release Aerial Yoga method and Aerial Academy.
Today, the Fly and Release Aerial Yoga method stands as a globally recognized and practiced approach, a testament to my dedication and the impact of my innovative teaching methodology. I am looking to expand the impact Aerial Yoga has on communities and the only way I can do that is with help. While I have certainly tried, I simply cannot spread myself across the globe to deliver teacher training in every community. That is where you come in, not only does taking this course kick start a career for yourself, but it helps expand the reach of the Fly and Release Aerial Yoga method, allowing more and more people and communities to experience the magic we get to every day with Aerial Yoga.
